Toothbrush in bathroom

Where do you keep your toothbrush?

Research has proven that toothbrushes stored in a bathroom with a toilet get exposed and contaminated with faecal particles or poo. Every time the toilet is flushed aerosols containing poo are forced into the air and travel throughout the bathroom landing on many things, including your toothbrush. By placing the toilet seat down these poo particles are kept within the toilet. It is good to store your toothbrush in a way that it can dry out completely as this avoid the bristles remaining moist and warm which is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. So the best place to store a toothbrush is where it can dry out and air between brushing and also away from an open toilet.
